All rentable areas have a premium shell construction: walls and ceilings are rendered with smooth gypsum plaster. On the ground floor, the floors, walls and ceilings remain unfinished. The double floor constructed as part of the basic specification for connecting up the individual work stations enables a flexible office layout. This, in conjunction with the client’s individual interior finish, enables the premises to be adapted to any need. Heating for the entire «MainTower» is supplied from the City of Zurich district heating network. An environment-friendly thermally activated building component system (TABS) is installed in all areas of the building. Here the ceilings and floors act as energy stores and ensure a pleasant ambient atmosphere. The system satisfies high demands on room conditioning. Optimum air conditioning with low energy costs is ensured in combination with the air inlet and exhaust of the double facade. Supplementary cooling systems for rooms with high heat loads (server room, etc.) can be upgraded within the tenant’s fitting out.
